During engagements

During consulting engagements, we may collect additional information necessary to deliver the agreed services, including business operational data, workflow information, and other materials you provide. This information is governed by the confidentiality provisions in our Terms and Conditions.

Automatically collected

Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web analytics data including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts on this site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information solely to:

  • Respond to your enquiry
  • Deliver the services you have engaged us for
  • Issue invoices and manage payment
  • Communicate about your engagement

We do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you explicitly opt in. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties, except:

  • Service providers: We use Cloudflare (hosting), Formspree (contact form processing), and email services to operate the business. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy obligations.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information where required by Australian law or a court order.

We will never share your business data, engagement details, or contact information with other clients or commercial third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Contact form submissions are transmitted securely via Formspree and stored in our business email system. Engagement materials are stored on encrypted, access-controlled systems.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry. Engagement records are retained for seven years in accordance with Australian tax and business record-keeping requirements.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time (see section 7).

6. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking or analytics purposes. Cloudflare may set essential security cookies (such as bot detection) as part of its hosting infrastructure. These are functional cookies required for the site to operate securely and do not track your activity across other sites.

7. Your Rights

We respect your right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate or out-of-date information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal record-keeping obligations)
  • Complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles

Note: The Privacy Act 1988 formally applies to businesses with annual turnover above $3 million. We voluntarily follow these principles as a matter of professional practice.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
